Optimized Analog Circuit

For the analog stage, the “New Type-R” (*) circuit is originally developed for E-3, has been implemented and optimized for DAC. The power supply also incorporates the same non-NFB regulator circuits used in higher-end models.

ES9038PRO

The ES9038PRO, boasting a simple yet powerful current-output design with no unnecessary functions, is employed independently for left and right channels. Naturally, SOULNOTE’s proprietary NOS (non-oversampling) mode is also available.

Eliminating the Analog Low-Pass Filter (LPF)

The inherently organic and vibrant music reproduction that NOS was originally intended to deliver have been achieved. This effect is equally effective during DSD playback. 

Resistor-based I/V Design

For richly musical sound, the I/V conversion circuit—an element of critical importance—employs the same resistor-based I/V design used in higher-end models.

A large, non-impregnated Toroidal Transformer

In combination with the non-NFB power supply, the toroidal transformer enables passionate, class-defying music playback.
