Something was rotten in the state of Denmark. (Well, in the loudspeaker industry, anyway.) Dynaudio’s founder, Wilfried Ehrenholz, decided that the off-the-shelf speakers available at the time weren’t telling the whole truth. He and his colleagues started out by putting drivers made by other companies into tweaked cabinets, with crossovers designed and built in-house. But they still weren’t quite right. And we all know there’s only one way to get something right if no one else can do it… We’ve been making our own speakers ever since. And from those relatively humble beginnings, we’ve come a long way – including building a dedicated R&D facility, Dynaudio Labs – and branching out into cars, recording studios and more. But we’ve never lost that tenacious spirit. To us, a speaker has to reproduce exactly what the artist intended. And we firmly believe that despite all the tech, our ears are the most important measuring instruments we have.

BM Classic Series

Applications for the BM Classic monitors cover every aspect of sound engineering and reproduction, including music and speech monitoring and mixing, radio station, OB vehicles, edit suites, post production, recording studios and playback rooms.

Their size combined with their brilliant performance also make them suitable for use in surround systems. In combination with the BM14S mkII it is also well suited for a full-blown 5.1 system in smaller rooms.
