NEW TECHNOLOGY

The CD5si is a high-end CD player that offers a superior musical experience. It builds on the features of its predecessor, the CD5i, and incorporates new technological advances to enhance the listening experience. Upgrades include an improved digital-to-analogue converter chip, a more stable DAC clock, higher voltage power supply rails, a redesigned analogue filter, and CD transport and laser optics. These changes aim to produce exceptional sound quality while maintaining engineering reliability.
 

BUILT TO LAST

The CD5si is built with a rigid, extruded aluminium casing, which provides excellent resistance to external vibrations. Its high-performance drawer and transport mechanism, similar to our premium CDX2 model, ensures low resonance and low inertia disc operation. Moreover, the CD5si has separate digital and analogue power supplies that offer superior isolation of sound-critical electronics.
