With its Superfine polished Line-Contact Diamond stylus tip on a low mass boron cantilever the Nagaoka MP-500 is the flagship model in the MP series. 

It is available in two versions 
MP-500 - cartridge only without headshell
MP-500H - cartridge pre-mounted in a Nagaoka Headshell
Please select the desired version before adding it to the shopping basket.

The MP-500H is mounted with screws of ideal length, washers and bolts, ready to put to use. For this reason no screw driver and spare screws and bolts are included by Nagaoka as is the case with the MP-500 version without headshell. A Stylus guard is included with the cartridge to protect it during transportation and when not in use. The Stylus guard is also sold separately should you ever find yourself in need of a spare. The Nagaoka house sound with presence, warmth, dynamic and definition is brought to the listener in the highest potency of musical expression, dimensional clarity and natural fidelity with this MP-500 / MP-500H. Nagaoka MP-500 / MP-500H uses the moving permalloy principle with a powerful samarium cobalt magnet packed in an exclusive super rigid body. In contrast to similarly priced moving coil cartridges the stylus on Nagaoka MP-500 / MP-500H can be replaced with a new one for reasonable costs when it is worn out.
