For the NEO Stream 3, the foundation of this approach is the award-winning DAC stage, built around a Burr-Brown chipset. Selected for its natural detail and musicality, the chipset’s unique architecture processes PCM and DSD via separate pathways, preserving a bit-perfect signal all the way through to analogue conversion. The DAC stage is then highly customised to allow sample rates far beyond the standard specifications.
