A suite of the latest generation of Audiovector innovations includes the newly developed Dual Air Motion Transformer. Working in harmony with our Soundstage Enhancement Concept (SEC), it delivers an exceptionally open, precise and three-dimensional treble – allowing music not only to be heard, but truly felt.
A proprietary line array bass system radiates sound both forward and backward, dispersing the bass more effectively than a conventional speaker. This significantly enhances realism and makes it easier to feel the music.
The low-frequency array of eight rear-mounted bass drivers is groundbreaking. Representing the equivalent surface area and displacement of a 15-inch woofer, it ensures profound bass extension with controlled articulation, creating a vast and open soundstage with a deep and involving bass.
The Accelerated Force Concept (AFC) bass/midrange structure also sets a new benchmark, accelerating and decelerating the drive units with precision and control. This results in a lightning-fast response, ultra-low distortion, and a physical presence in the sound that you can both hear and feel.
Our uniquely flexible Damping Feature aligns cabinet resonance and energy release in perfect synchrony with the music. The result is a calm, controlled, and profoundly musical performance.

The Audiovector R 10 Arreté is a unique, one-of-its-kind loudspeaker as visually arresting as it is acoustically stunning. Each cabinet is meticulously hand-crafted from premium, high-density hardwood fibreboard, vacuum-formed and intricately braced to deliver exceptional rigidity. Precision-milled 6061 aluminium baffles provide further structural integrity to dramatically reduce vibration and distortion.

Designed, engineered and hand-built in Denmark, the R 10 combines a suite of the latest generation of Audiovector innovations, immersing the listener in the full breadth, depth and detail of the music.
Dual Tweeter. Unrivalled Detail.
A newly developed Dual Air Motion Transformer works in harmony with our Soundstage Enhancement Concept (SEC). Together they create an exceptionally open, precise, and three-dimensional treble that allows music not only to be heard, but truly felt.
The zero-compression main tweeter features an open-backed driver with a rear cabinet exhaust. This prevents backpressure buildup, maintaining a natural and effortless high-frequency extension free from mechanical limitations. The dedicated Hyper Tweeter extends the treble response beyond human hearing to deliver an expansive and detailed top end with extraordinary microdynamics.
No Standing Waves
Standing waves are the enemy of perfect sound because they introduce both distortion and energy loss. Our trademark teardrop-shaped cabinet creates perfect conditions for the drivers to effectively eliminate these standing waves.
PROPRIETARY ACCELERATED FORCE CONCEPT (AFC)
The unique Accelerated Force Concept (AFC) bass/midrange structure accelerates and decelerates the drive units with precision and control. This results in lightning-fast response, ultra-low distortion, and a physical presence in the sound that you can both hear and feel.
Rather than the ubiquitous roll surround seen on most bass drivers, we use a custom-developed concertina surround crafted from natural rubber and neoprone rubber. This makes the bass drivers fast enough to blend in with the superfast midrange driver. Working in synergy with AFC, it creates the turbo effect on those minimal initial movements while improving high-frequency detailing.
This produces a cleaner sound, better dynamics and a more detailed soundstage, while preserving lifelike vocal and instrumental textures. The low frequency performance is, quite simply, unprecedented.
The special hysteresis-free ‘concertina’ corrugated surround improves midrange performance and retains long throw capability rather than forcing listeners to choose between the two.

The Audiovector R 10 enhances the realism of the experience, transporting listeners so close to the heart of a track that they can feel the music.
Line Array Bass System
The rear-facing bass line source is ideal for evenly distribution of bass energy throughout the listening room. The R 10 Arreté features eight long-throw drivers, each with a linear travel of ±12 mm. They provide a cumulative membrane surface equivalent to that of a single 15-inch driver. Dividing the bass across multiple fast subwoofer drivers, however, results in greater speed and precision.
These bass drivers extend up to 2,000 Hz with a tapered frequency response. On the front baffle, two upper bass/lower midrange drivers deliver fast, precise, and undistorted performance in the crucial lower midrange area where the majority of musical dynamics reside. Together with the rear-facing bass system, they create a vast and open soundstage with deep, involving bass.
Customisable Bass Control
All amplifiers are different. Some have a high damping factor, some a low one. A unique Damping Factor Dial makes it possible to achieve a perfect impedance matching, enabling the listener to optimise bass response according to room acoustics and preference.

The low-frequency array of eight rearmounted bass drivers is groundbreaking. Representing the equivalent surface area and displacement of a 15-inch woofer (yet far easier on the eye), it ensures profound bass extension with controlled articulation.
Proprietary Crossover Technology
As with every other Audiovector component, the R 10 Arreté crossover is designed and built to uncompromising standards. Double cryogenically treated capacitors combine polypropylene dielectrics with tin-flashed copper foil for an exceptionally musical sound. Distortion-optimised copper coils in a Dynamic Feed Forward (DFF) configuration reduce resistance and distortion. Audiovector bypass capacitors, meanwhile, preserve the highest treble harmonics for ultimate realism.
Unlike conventional loudspeakers, which tend to rely on reactive wire-wound resistors, Audiovector models integrate precision film resistors to guarantee a smooth and refined treble response.
Second-Generation Freedom Grounding® Concept
Our revolutionary Freedom Grounding® technology reduces movement-induced distortion within and between the drive units. Operating all the way up into the highest MHz frequency range, it is 50% more efficient than the original Freedom 1.
A dedicated grounding filter processes unwanted currents from the driver chassis, which would otherwise cause colouration and distortion. This filtered signal is then routed to the ground terminal of either wall socket or a grounded mains distribution unit. The result is a cleaner, more engaging sound with a lower noise floor and enhanced realism.
R 10 CONCEPTS

DCC – Diffraction Control Concept. A thick layer of natural felt around the mid-and treble drivers absorbs reflected energy and make the drivers act as point sources. This results in a holographic 3-dimensional soundstage.
- AFC - Accelerated Force Concept. This technology was developed to overcome the inherent inertia in all dynamic drivers. A new propriety voice coil geometry was developed to improve the midrange driver’s willingness to move to small and delicate signals. A light concertina rubber surround replaces the conventional heavy half-roll for a lightened moving mass. AFC delivers a wider dynamic range, a deeper soundstage, lower distortion, greater micro-detail, and resolution – the perfect match with the AMT tweeters..
- NSW - No Standing Waves. Standing waves are the enemy of perfect sound, because they introduce both distortion and energy loss. The R 10 cabinet avoids these problems by creating the perfect conditions for the drivers.
- DFA – Damping Factor Adjustment. All amplifiers are different. Some have a high damping factor, some have a low damping factor. Audiovectors DFA principle makes it possible to adjust the speakers to the amplifiers characteristics. This brings us one step closer to the perfect sound.
- LCC - Low Compression Concept. A technology which allows the membranes of the drivers to move freely under all kinds of demanding conditions. This means that your Audiovector speakers will stay faith-ful to whatever signal they are fed – no matter how loud and complicated the material.
- SEC - Soundstage Enhancement Concept. This concept allows you to choose where you want to be positioned when you listen. This technology means the soundstage stays intact, wherever you are positioned. The sound fills a room in an incredible manner, giving the listener a realistic “live sound” experience.
- NES - No Energy Storage. Drive units sound best if they do not have to ‘carry’ the weight of the speaker cabinet to which they are fixed. This is a question of transient response. Inspired by the solutions from the Audiovector R 11 Arreté, we have managed to use the NES concept to achieve an even higher level of realism and open soundstage from our speakers.
- NCS molecular realigment. Natural Crystal Structure is one of the many invisible technological improvementss of our Arreté models. By freezing components down to -238° C, the copper molecules realign themselves to their natural positions and will therefore reduce resistance. The result is a clear and more detailed sound quality.
- Freedom of grounding. Audiovector Freedom is a revolutionary grounding technology, which addresses the movement induced distortion of and between the drive units in a loudspeaker. The currencies running between the chassis are being processed and dealt with through a new separate crossover, which routes the signal to the ground terminal of your wall socket or your grounded mains distributor. These currencies cause coloration and distortion between the drive units. By balancing and filtering these through a dedicated separate filter and by offering the possibility of connecting them to earth/ground, we achieve a clean, very accurate, much more realistic sound with low noise floor.
